Doodle Reader

Doodle Reader

There is something special about old books. We have always preferred used bookstores, worn covers, and the yellowed pages of well-loved classics. Yet we can also appreciate the convenience of the electronic bookshelf.

The Doodle Reader project grew from a simple idea: what if classic books offered room for the reader to participate? Wide margins for notes, space to sketch ideas, pages to color, and opportunities to respond to the story as it unfolds.

Our first Doodle Reader edition is Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

The choice was an easy one. After completing Quincey, our sequel to Dracula, it felt only natural to return to the original novel that inspired the journey.
